Ann Sullivan O’Brien at age 88 yrs of age (1837-1928) posing with her great grandson, John James O’Brien in his wicker buggy. Ann was a devout Catholic, and in later years, could often be found praying her rosary on her front porch. Ann was born in Cobb Ireland and immigrated in May 1849 with her family.

Peter Brecheisen (1823 - 1875) An early picture of Peter, supposedly taken about the time he came to Kansas in 1857. This reproduction was made from a glass portrait, called the Ambro-Type photograph developed in 1854.

This is a picture of my beautiful mother and on the back it says her name and it says it was taken around 1965 or 68 and then she wrote I made the complete outfit! And then 39 years old. Bless her heart she was so talented in so many ways!

Picture from George Black cousin from LaDow side of family. Appears to be a private barracks during a war - civil war? Spanish American war? WWI? Time of photo unknown. Note: Found out that Clarence LaDow's mother's father died in the Mexican war. Could this have been that far back? 1848.
