About 1912 “The Four Dancing Lubin’s” Actually there were five Salsburg siblings who sang and danced in this traveling Vaudeville act. The fifth was a stand-in (substitute) sister, Fan. Pictured here are brothers Lou (Left), Ray (Right), and sisters Lil (Left) and Bess (Right). Bess, our maternal grandmother, married our grandfather, Wm E Ashbolt (Papa). They had two daughters, Phyllis - DOB 12/7/1914 (my mother) and Alvira Ruth Born 1917. Bess died in the flu epidemic in October, 1918 at the age of 24.
