Bewitching Beards &
Vivid Voices

Nostalgia is finding value within the little moments and our larger memories. As a member of the Photomyne family, we know the past holds a special place in your heart, and we welcome you to our weekly newsletter of nostalgic photos.

Guess the historical figure

Who am I?

I had the longest beard ever measured. It was a great source of pride for me, and I used to show off at fairs around the USA. When I passed away in 1927, it was more than 17 feet long (Over 5 meters), and in 1955 I entered the first Guinness World Records book. Do you know my name?

A touch of Sharpy

A-ha!

No one is too young to have the best idea in the room!

Sharpy is a feature allowing you to unblur grainy or lower-quality photos – try it yourself!

Family flashback

Feeling holy

"This is my entire family outside St Joseph's catholic church in Preston, Lancashire, England (I'm the one in the middle, wearing a tie). The building in the background is St Joseph's junior school we all attended. I found this photo recently while tidying out a store room. I'm glad I can pass these memories on to my daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchild."

The way we were

Keep me warm

Some of our best memories from college are the conversation we had by the fire in our old dorm complex. Nothing like a heart-to-heart when it's cold outside.

Let the music speak

If you like to sing, sing out loud; if you notice the camera – sing even louder!

Family trip

"This is a photo of my mother Lena Berg with her mother Greta Cederholm. My grandfather took it sometime in 1952 when they all visited Varberg's Fortress. I have scanned many pictures with your app - it is so easy to use and gives very good results."
